Overview
The DeepGrid LV Monitoring is a modular solution, meaning that it is made of independent modules that are built on the top of a common core. These modules are called apps. An app can be seen as a specific service that solves a certain problem. Apps can be added and detached from the platform without affecting its basic functionality, giving clients the freedom to choose the apps they need to work, and only these.
Currently there are 8 different apps:
- Current Fault Detection
- Dead Section Detection
- Connection Test
- Energy Balance
- Network Power Quality
- Current Harmonics
- Earthing
- Capacity Optimization
What is a Device Special Operation Mode
In order to add value to the DTVI device, which by default has its “Normal Operation Mode”, we have created the concept of “Device Special Operation Mode”. The latter is an operation mode where the device executes specific tasks that aim at solving a particular problem.
The device enters in a special operation mode after having a request from the platform to do so, which in turn is submitted by users from the web app. Both DTVI-g 05 or DTVI4-g devices allow several modes in parallel, but any other device while in a special operation mode, the device will not be executing the normal mode tasks nor any other task that is not contained in the given special operation mode. That is the execution of operation modes in a given device is exclusive: only one operation mode can be executed at a time after getting the new device configuration from the platform.
